Solo Traveler
This is a cut-rate hotel / casino far from the heart of Deadwood where all the action is. If you stay at this hotel, try to get a room in building 1. Buildings 2 & 3 are an uphill walk from the casino. They claim to have a shuttle service to the casino, but over 3 days of my stay, the shuttle was only available one time. If you enjoy a drink while you're gambling, you will be going to the bar for one as the staff rarely serves you. The receptionist was very nice, told us where the room was and how to get to the breakfast bar for in the morning. Once in the room it was clean and did not have any odors. The shower had force - was not a weak stream of water. We were fortunate to have a window view of the city - very pretty at night. Priced right.
